Day Eight. Tar Creek.

Superfund site or not, Tar Creek is really peaceful and has a life of it's own. The creek has the most soothing water sound of any flowing water around. It ripples and laps on the smoothed rocks in such a way that it almost speaks to you. Even today as most of it was frozen over there was still the quiet movement begging to be heard.
