Day Fifty-One. Goodbye Ugly Carpet!

Finally, I have made the time to get rid of the yucky carpet in the spare bedroom. Nah, nah, nah, nah.....GOOD BYE!

Day Fifty. Poetry in Motion.

Scooter is one of the fastest sprinting dogs I have seen. The bad part is his brakes aren't that good.

Day Forty-Nine. The Pair of Dove.

I have many dove that roost out back in my pine tree. I see, and hear, them quite often. I like the dove. They are a simple sort of bird. When I came home I saw this pair roosting in my front tree. It was a pleasant sight to see.

Day Forty-Seven. Built in Heater.

R.C. is one of my parents' cats. She is always cold and to help combat her cooling temperature she has learned to sleep on the floor furnace until it turns on. The floor furnace has a pilot that stays warm and keeps her nice and toasty.

Day Forty-Six. Presidents Day and Ol' Glory.

I have often wondered, come President's Day, what it would have been to meet some presidents before my time. Washington, Jackson, the Roosevelts.

Day Forty-Five. The Mockingbird.

Mockingbirds are fun to listen to. It really is amazing how they will "mock" any sound they are around. Whether it be another bird, like the Bob-White, or an Ambulance siren. I have heard many impersonations by these birds and I have to say, they are pretty good replicas of the originals. Not to mention they are stunning to look at.

Day Forty-Four. The Watering Hole.

I know these are just "annoying" birds to most people. But as for me, they make me laugh. If birds could talk, I wish I could hear what all they had to say.

Day Forty-Three. In A Flash.

Sure, I got some nice close ups of this little bugger but I thought this one was really interesting.

Day Forty-Two. The Inner Workings.

This is a shot pointed up a hollow tree. This tree is still alive and thriving. It still grows many leaves and turns beautiful in the fall. However, this tree is hollowed out. I often wonder how the tree sustains itself on the thin shell it has to stand on. And until now, I have wondered what the inside looked like.
